For individuals seeking support navigating emotional or behavioral challenges, individual therapy can be a valuable resource. Additionally, those looking for personal growth and improved self-awareness may benefit from couples therapy or family therapy.

These couples therapy sessions are beneficial for partners at any stage of their relationship. We can explore conflict resolution, emotional distance, life transitions, and work on strengthening the bond between you and your partner, much like the approaches used in family therapy and individual therapy.

In family therapy, the dynamic can be quite complex. We identify unhealthy patterns, enhance communication amongst the family unit, and provide a safe, neutral space for each family member to express their feelings and concerns. This process can also complement couples therapy and individual therapy, as it addresses the unique needs of each relationship and individual within the family.
Once you have committed to individual therapy, documentation will be sent to you to complete prior to your first appointment. This is also a great time to jot down any questions you may have regarding couples therapy or family therapy.
During your first session, whether it's for couples therapy, family therapy, or individual therapy, we will complete an intake; this consists primarily of historical information and current concerns. We will discuss confidentiality and what therapy sessions may look like for you.
I like to meet my clients where they are, whether they are seeking individual therapy, couples therapy, or family therapy. We will follow up on discussions from our previous session, get updates, and work on skill building and insight. At the end of the session, I will assign homework for the next week.
